Happy Hump day! Ok, I know it’s almost over, but my internet has not been working very well! It keeps saying “connection timeout.” I kept resetting it to no avail but I finally have a window of opportunity to blog.
So here goes:

Daniel and I have still just been organizing the apartment as well as trying to finish re-staining the table. We currently just have a couple more coats of polyurethane to go and then it will be ready! While working on that, my parent’s came home with left over Cozy Burgers. The Cozy Inn originated in Salina, KS but has opened another location in Manhattan a couple years ago. They are small hamburgers served with onion, pickles, ketchup, and mustard. They are delicious! I had a couple of those before we went home and cooked up some tilapia. I went the lazy route and sprinkled on some lemon pepper and a little bit of greek rub for an easy but flavorful dinner. And then I microwaved some corn and beans. What can I say, I’m classy.
Healthy can be easy AND taste good! I scarfed that whole plate down in less than 5 minutes. I was hungry.
Then of course I needed dessert. I’m glad I made four blackberry cobblers so I could have more yesterday! I gave myself an even bigger scoop of ice cream to top it off.
It’s late and I’m really craving something sweet to eat. Good thing I only bought tiny one serving size containers of ice cream so there’s none left for me to snack on. I do have some Nutella though…and that on toast sounds pretty good…
What do you do to combat cravings? Or do you just give in to them?
