What you need:

1. Preheat a large saucepan over medium heat. Add onion and sauté until translucent. Then add the carrots, celery, bell pepper, and zucchini to the pan.

2. Pour in the crushed tomatoes, broth, and tomato paste, and stir to combine. Season the sauce with the dried basil, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

3. Simmer The sauce until veggies have softened; about 15-20 minutes.

4. Transfer the sauce to a blender or use an immersion blender to blend the sauce until it’s smooth and the veggies are hidden.

5. After blending the sauce transfer to the saucepan and taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
