It's perfectly tender and juicy and looks so realistic, you could sneak it on the grill and no one would question you. They're filling, high in protein, and are surprisingly easy to make!
Combine all wet and dry ingredients, except for the vital wheat gluten, in a blender and blend until smooth.

Knead
Transfer to a bowl, add vital wheat gluten, and knead into a dough until just combined. Careful not to over mix.

Flatten
Roll out the dough. Use a rolling pin or flatten and stretch it with your knuckles by pressing down and pulling a little bit at a time until you reach your desired shape.

Shape
Cut into individual steaks and continue to flatten and shape into steak-form.

Cook
Add steaks to broth, turn down heat to low simmer and cover. Cook on each side for 10 minutes until broth is absorbed.

Grill
Grill steaks or sear for 1-2 minutes per side to char and caramelize the outside. Serve with your favorite steak sauce!
