Equipment

  • Food Processor or Blender or immersion blender

Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh strawberries
  • 2 cups cold water

Optional

  • ½ lemon juiced, or lime juice
  • 1-2 teaspoons maple syrup or agave syrup
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Thoroughly wash the strawberries under cold water.
    1 lb fresh strawberries
  • Optionally slice off the strawberry tops for a sweeter, brighter juice. Or skip this step for extra nutrients since the greens are edible and full of nutrients.
  • Add strawberries, cold water, and any optional ingredients you prefer to a blender and blend for 30 seconds to 1 minute until smooth.
2 cups cold water, ½ lemon, 1-2 teaspoons maple syrup, pinch of salt
  • Serve immediately or optionally strain the juice to remove strawberries seeds and pulp by using a fine mesh strainer or nut milk bag over a large bowl.

Notes

Serve immediately for the freshest flavor or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator and consume within 2 days.
Note: This juice tastes great on its own but feel free add the optional ingredients if your strawberries aren't very ripe to give it more flavor.
