This is the easiest way to cook frozen waffles in the air fryer! They come out perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. And you can cook a bunch at once for a quick breakfast for the family! They are ready in minutes!
No need to preheat the air fryer. Place frozen waffles in the air fryer basket or tray (depending on the type of air fryer you have) in a single layer. Do not stack or overlap the waffles. This ensures they cook evenly.
2 frozen waffles
Cook at 360F for 3 minutes, then flip the waffles over and continue cooking for another 2-3 minutes until desired crispiness is reached.
If you are making consecutive batches, reduce the time by a minute or two as the air fryer will already be heated which will cause the frozen waffles to cook even faster in the following batches.
Notes
Cooking times: You may need to adjust your cooking time depending on your air fryer model. I use this air fryer.Topping ideas: Top with your choice of berries, maple syrup, nut butters, chocolate chips or savory dressings.Storage: I recommend cooking only what you plan on eating that day but if you happen to have leftover waffles, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a few days. Reheat in the air fryer for a couple minutes. Just be aware that reheating frozen waffles may cause them to dry out.
