Ingredients

  • 3 avocados ripe
  • 1 lime juiced
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ small red onion finely diced
  • 2 roma tomatoes diced
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro leaves finely chopped
  • 1 jalapeño seeds removed and finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, add the avocado and mash with a fork until desired consistency is reached (smooth or chunky).
    3 avocados
  • Add the lime juice, cumin and salt and stir to evenly distribute.
1 lime, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • Add the remaining ingredients and stir together. Taste and adjust seasonings as desired.
1/2 small red onion, 2 roma tomatoes, 1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves, 1 jalapeño, 2 cloves garlic

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Adding lime juice on top can help prevent browning as well as thoroughly covering with plastic wrap to prevent air from oxidizing the guacamole.
If you prefer spicier guac, feel free to include the seeds from the jalapeño, or add some chili powder! Or if you prefer mild, feel free to omit the jalapeño.
