Equipment

  • air fryer

Ingredients

  • 2 frozen waffles

Instructions

  • No need to preheat the air fryer. Place frozen waffles in the air fryer basket or tray (depending on the type of air fryer you have) in a single layer. Do not stack or overlap the waffles. This ensures they cook evenly.
    2 frozen waffles
  • Cook at 360F for 3 minutes, then flip the waffles over and continue cooking for another 2-3 minutes until desired crispiness is reached.
  • If you are making consecutive batches, reduce the time by a minute or two as the air fryer will already be heated which will cause the frozen waffles to cook even faster in the following batches.

Notes

Cooking times: You may need to adjust your cooking time depending on your air fryer model. I use this air fryer.
Topping ideas: Top with your choice of berries, maple syrup, nut butters, chocolate chips or savory dressings.
Storage: I recommend cooking only what you plan on eating that day but if you happen to have leftover waffles, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a few days. Reheat in the air fryer for a couple minutes. Just be aware that reheating frozen waffles may cause them to dry out.
