Crispy Tofu Tacos (Quick and Easy!)

Delicious and filling tacos made with crispy tofu and topped with cabbage, green onions, salsa, lime juice, and cilantro. It comes together in 30 minutes, perfect for taco night or meal prep!

What you need:

Extra firm tofu, soy sauce, maple syrup, onion powder, garlic powder, cumin, chili powder, red cabbage, cilantro, lime, green onions, salsa, corn tortillas.


Drain and press tofu for 10 minutes to remove excess water. Meanwhile mix together the marinade ingredients. Slice tofu into cubes and add to marinade.


Air Fry or Bake

Place marinated tofu in preheated air fryer and cook for 10-15 minutes, flipping halfway through. See full recipe for oven instructions.



Prep the veggies. Remove the outer leaves from the cabbage and slice into strips. Wash and chop cilantro leaves (and stems if you like).



Assemble the tofu tacos. Warm up the corn tortillas on a skillet or in a microwave, then top with crispy tofu, sliced red cabbage, salsa, chopped cilantro and a drizzle of lime juice.

Store vegetables and tofu in separate airtight containers in the refrigerator. Tofu will last up to 4 days. For maximum crispiness, reheat in an air fryer or oven.
