Equipment

  • Juicer or High-speed Blender

Ingredients

For peach juice

  • 1 lb fresh peaches, pitted and peeled if desired (or frozen and thawed peaches)
  • 2 cups cold water

For peach nectar

  • ½ lemon or lime juiced
  • 1-2 teaspoons maple syrup or agave syrup
  • Tiny pinch of salt

Instructions

Juicer

  • If you haven't already, wash, peel (optional), and slice peaches into small pieces, removing the pit. Add the slices to your juicer and press down to extract the juice. Repeat with the rest of the slices.
1 lb fresh peaches, pitted and peeled if desired, 2 cups cold water
  • For best results, chill the juice in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. Serve and enjoy right away!

Blender

  • If you haven't already, start by washing, peeling (optional), and halving the peaches. Add them alongside the water to a high-speed blender. Blend on high for 30 seconds to 1 minute, or until no chunks remain. The mixture should be completely smooth.
1 lb fresh peaches, pitted and peeled if desired, 2 cups cold water
  • Place a fine mesh strainer or a nut milk bag over a large bowl. Pour the juice into the strainer/bag to get rid of the pulp. If you're using a nut milk bag, squeeze it with your hands to extract as much juice as possible.
  • Then, chill the juice in the fridge for at least 30 minutes and up to 2 hours. Before serving, taste it and adjust the thickness if needed. You can add a splash of water if you want to thin it out. Serve right away and enjoy!
