Ingredients

  • 1 cup water room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup or vegan honey
  • pinch of cinnamon optional

Instructions

  • Add the water to a tall glass or jar. Make sure the water is room temperature or slightly warm.

  • Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, maple syrup, and ground cinnamon, if using. Stir well or seal with a lid and shake vigorously to combine. A milk frother also works well.

  • Taste and adjust sweetness to your liking by adding another teaspoon of maple syrup if desired. Serve right away.

Notes

This drink is best served warm or at room temperature for better digestion. If you prefer a cold drink, you can add ice cubes to the glass. To make ahead, you can store in an airtight container or jar for up to 5 days. Shake or stir before serving.
