Ingredients

For the Banana Milk:

  • 2 large ripe bananas peeled
  • 1 cup oat milk unsweetened
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or agave syrup
  • ¼ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • dash of ground cinnamon
  • pinch of salt

For the Boba Pearls:

  • ½ cup tapioca pearls
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup or sweetener of choice like agave syrup, coconut sugar works too

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients for the banana milk to a blender and blend until smooth. Tip: For a thicker consistency, use frozen bananas.
2 large ripe bananas, 1 cup oat milk, 1 cup cold water, 1 tablespoon maple syrup, ¼ teaspoon pure vanilla extract, dash of ground cinnamon, pinch of salt
  • Cook the boba pearls according to package instructions. Once cooked, drain the boba and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process. Transfer to a bowl and stir in the maple syrup to sweeten.
½ cup tapioca pearls, 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • Divide the boba pearls into glasses, followed by ice cubes, add the banana milk and stir to combine.

Notes

Prefer a thicker milkshake consistency? – For a thicker, colder drink, use frozen bananas instead of fresh.
Adjust Sweetness – Taste the banana milk before adding sweetener, as ripe bananas are naturally sweet.
Boba Cooking Tip – Tapioca pearls can become hard if left too long after cooking. Serve immediately for the best texture.
